Look up any Steam account and get the facts in one place: every ID format, ban status, how old it is, level, and what it owns.
What you can paste in
Anything that identifies an account — a full profile URL, a custom vanity name, a SteamID in any of its formats. The lookup works out what you gave it.
What comes back
- Every ID format — SteamID64, SteamID32, the classic
STEAM_0:form, and the profile URL. Handy when a site or tool wants one specific format. - Ban status — VAC bans, game bans, community and trade bans, with how long ago they happened.
- Account age — when it was created.
- Steam level and badge progress.
- Games owned and the most-played titles, when the profile is public.
Why it is worth thirty seconds
Before you accept a trade, this tells you whether the other side is a week-old account with a trade ban — the most common setup for a scam. A profile made three days ago, with no games and a hidden inventory, is a decision you can make instantly instead of after losing items.
Steam only shares what the account allows. A private profile returns IDs, ban status and creation date, but not the game list. Missing data is Steam's privacy setting, not a failed lookup — and a profile hidden right before a trade is itself worth noticing.
It is read-only
Looking someone up does nothing to them: no friend request, no notification, no trace on their profile. Every number comes from Steam's public API, the same data any Steam user can see.
