How your Steam credentials are stored, what to do if something looks wrong, and how to close your account if you decide to leave.
How your Steam details are stored
Bot passwords and secrets are encrypted before they are written, in a separate vault per account. They are never displayed back — not in the panel, not in exports, not to support. When a settings page shows a masked value, that is a placeholder: leaving it untouched keeps the stored value.
We do not need, ask for, or store your Steam account recovery details, and no one at EasySteamFarm can read your Steam password.
Your EasySteamFarm password
Change it under Settings → Account. Doing so does not sign out your other devices on its own, so if you are changing it because you suspect someone else had access, also revoke your sessions — the next section.
Forgotten it? Use the reset link on the sign-in page. The e-mail is valid for one hour.
Sessions
Settings lists every device currently signed into your account, with its rough location and last activity. Anything you do not recognise, revoke — it takes effect immediately and that device has to sign in again.
Revoke sessions after signing in on a computer that is not yours. It costs one click and closes the most common way accounts get taken over.
Changing your e-mail
Under Settings. The new address has to be confirmed before it becomes active, so a typo cannot lock you out — until you click the link in the new inbox, the old address stays in charge.
If the confirmation e-mail does not arrive, check spam first, then use the resend link next to your e-mail status in the panel.
Signing in without a password
Three options besides an e-mail and password: Steam, Discord and Google. All three work the same way — you type your password on their site, never on ours, and we receive only an account identifier and (for Discord and Google) your e-mail address. We recommend them over a password you have to remember.
If the address on your Google or Discord account matches one you already use here, the two are joined automatically — provided that address is verified on both sides. If your EasySteamFarm account has an unverified e-mail, we refuse the link and say so, rather than hand your account to whoever controls that address. Verify the e-mail first, then link from Settings.
Deleting your account
Under Settings, at the bottom. You will be asked to type a confirmation phrase, because this is not reversible.
Deleting stops and removes every bot, and erases your profile, billing history and linked accounts. Your Steam accounts themselves are not affected in any way — everything farmed stays on them. What we can no longer do afterwards is issue an invoice or look up a past payment, so download anything you need first.
Change your EasySteamFarm password, revoke all sessions, and change the Steam passwords of any accounts you had running as bots. Then open a ticket on Discord — we can check the audit log for your account and tell you what was actually done and from where.
